Biogenic Soil Sense Showcases Advanced Soil Intelligence Technology at National Fertiliser Day Programme in Dehiowita

Bridging agricultural science and technology to support smarter fertiliser management in Sri Lanka.

Biogenic Soil Sense (Private) Limited participated in the National Fertiliser Day Programme held in Dehiowita, showcasing its advanced soil analysis technology and promoting the importance of science-based soil and nutrient management in Sri Lankan agriculture.

The programme provided a valuable opportunity to introduce our latest technological innovations to key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including Mr. Namal Karunarathna, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, and Mr. Chandana Lokuhewage, Chairman of the National Fertiliser Secretariat.

Introducing a new approach to soil analysis

At the exhibition, our team demonstrated our Near-Infrared (NIR) technology-based soil analysis system and digital soil intelligence platform. These technologies aim to make soil information more accessible and support informed decisions on soil health and nutrient management.

By combining advanced scanning technology with digital reporting, Biogenic Soil Sense is working to strengthen the role of soil analysis in agricultural decision-making and encourage more targeted fertiliser management practices.

Empowering farmers through awareness

Beyond the technology demonstration, our team conducted farmer awareness activities highlighting the importance of understanding soil conditions before making fertiliser management decisions.

The programme also created opportunities to engage with government officers, students and other agricultural stakeholders, encouraging knowledge-sharing and greater awareness of modern agricultural technologies.

Our commitment to Sri Lankan agriculture

At Biogenic Soil Sense, we believe that sustainable agricultural progress begins with a better understanding of the soil. Our mission is to bridge the gap between agricultural science, digital technology and practical farming needs.

We remain committed to advancing soil intelligence, supporting informed nutrient management and contributing to a more productive and sustainable agricultural future for Sri Lanka.

Know Your Soil. Plan Better. Grow Better.
