A Warm Welcome to Sri Lanka – Strengthening Our Technology Partnership with AgroCares Netherlands

Today, Biogenic Soil Sense (Pvt) Ltd warmly welcomed our technology partner from AgroCares, Netherlands, Dr. Matteo Poggio, Soil & Sensor Specialist, upon his arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka.

Dr. Poggio was welcomed on behalf of Biogenic Soil Sense by Dr. Thulitha Ranwala, Founder & Managing Director, and Mr. Isuru Kulathunga, Co-Founder.

Dr. Poggio will be in Sri Lanka until 8 September 2026, with an important programme focused on knowledge exchange, soil and sensor technology, and strengthening collaborations in Sri Lankan agriculture.

A major highlight of his visit will be his participation as a Keynote Speaker at the International Symposium on Agriculture and Environment (ISAE 2026), organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, on 2 September 2026 at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

During his stay, we are also planning several engagements with government institutions, academia and private-sector stakeholders, creating opportunities to exchange expertise and explore the future of rapid soil intelligence, precision nutrient management and data-driven agriculture in Sri Lanka.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Poggio to Sri Lanka and look forward to a highly productive week ahead. 🌱🤝
