Biogenic Soil Sense successfully contributed to a Soil Health Camp held at Gurubewula, bringing rapid soil analysis and practical nutrient advisory directly to the farming community.
Unlike a conventional field-testing programme where the technical team collects samples from individual farms, participating farmers brought representative soil samples from their own cultivation lands to the camp. This enabled the Biogenic Soil Sense soil expert team to analyze individual samples and discuss the results directly with each farmer.
During the programme, our team carried out soil sample assessment and preparation, rapid soil nutrient analysis, soil report generation, interpretation of nutrient status, and practical soil and fertilizer advisory based on the analytical results.
An important aspect of the programme was the direct interaction between farmers and our technical team. Farmers were able to understand the nutrient condition of their own soils, discuss potential deficiencies and soil-related concerns, and gain a clearer understanding of how soil information can support better fertilizer and nutrient-management decisions.
For Biogenic Soil Sense, a soil test is more than a report. Our objective is to translate soil data into understandable and actionable information for farmers, supporting a gradual transition from generalized fertilizer practices towards more evidence-based nutrient management.
The successful Gurubewula Soil Health Camp demonstrates how accessible soil diagnostic services can help bridge the gap between soil science and everyday farm-level decision-making.
We sincerely appreciate all participating farmers, organizers, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the programme.
Know Your Soil. Know Your Nutrition Demand.
