Biogenic Soil Sense Showcases Sri Lanka’s First Digital Soil Nutrient Platform to the Market Development Facility (MDF)

Biogenic Soil Sense had the privilege of meeting with the leadership team of the Market Development Facility (MDF) at Palladium, Colombo, to present our vision for advancing precision agriculture and sustainable nutrient management in Sri Lanka.

The meeting was attended by:

During the session, the Biogenic Soil Sense team introduced Sri Lanka’s first Digital Soil Nutrient Platform, demonstrating how rapid on-field soil nutrient analysis, GPS-based field mapping, digital farmer and land profiling, and site-specific nutrient recommendations can support data-driven agricultural decision-making.

A live demonstration showcased our rapid soil testing technology, enabling comprehensive soil nutrient analysis and practical fertilizer recommendations to be generated directly in the field within minutes.

The discussion highlighted the potential of digital soil intelligence to improve fertilizer efficiency, optimize nutrient management, enhance farm productivity, and promote climate-smart agriculture across Sri Lanka.
