On 10 July 2026, Biogenic Soil Sense had a productive technical discussion with the Sugarcane Research Institute of Sri Lanka (SRI) to explore opportunities for collaboration in advancing rapid on-field soil and plant nutrient analysis for the sugarcane sector.

The meeting brought together scientists and technical experts from both organizations to exchange knowledge on precision nutrient management, soil health monitoring, and the application of advanced Netherlands NIR technology in sugarcane cultivation.

During the visit, the Biogenic Soil Sense team successfully demonstrated rapid soil and sugarcane leaf nutrient analysis to SRI scientists, technical officers, and university students.
